I have had good luck using 9 grains of Unique with 205 grain RNFP bullets. They are a little hotter than the cheap cowboy factory loads and they burn much cleaner.
I just refuse to pay a ridiculous price for anything. I'll wait until prices return to earth. I don't need anything bad enough to pay over fair value. Just me I guess.
I have some GM gift cards to burn up. The Sig sounds perfect. I also like the 22/45 but this time I'm going to stick with the 1911 platform. I will save the cheap ammo for my rifles and revolver. I'll find a round the Sig likes and stick with it.

Get the most powerful ammo you can. It will kill them dead but pass through shots are rare with the 357 and deer can be very hard to track. (In my opinion).
