      Letter to Visclosky

About a week or so ago I sent an email through Ruger's website to all of the political people that represent me, maybe some of you did the same thing. Today I was surprised to have gotten a response from Rep. Pete Visclosky which went a little something like this: Thank you for contacting me...

Another question about the Communist Nation to the west

Guess I should mention that I am an Indiana citizen with a LTCH

Another question about the Communist Nation to the west

I go to a private university in Illinois. What are the laws for having a handgun, in the trunk of my car, locked in a case, separated from the ammunition? Is it any different than if it was a public school or is it just completely illegal altogether? Thanks

Round in the chamber or no? XD9

I personally would find any firearm rather useless without the ability to chamber a round. Merry Christmas to you too!

Round in the chamber or no? XD9

This will be the first gun that I carry. I think that I'm going to be carrying with one in the chamber once I have enough practice to know that I'm not going to pull the trigger when I draw

Round in the chamber or no? XD9

Thanks for your opinion everyone. I picked up a glaco IWB holster recently and was planning on picking up a Blackhawk! OWB holster once I felt comfortable. I'll carry it unloaded but cocked around my house to get confident, then when I go out I'll have one in the chamber.

Round in the chamber or no? XD9

I'm going to be carrying a Springfield XD9 subcompact soon and I want to know what other people that carry guns that don't have a thumb safety think: Round in the chamber when carrying, or just in the magazine? I know it would be best in a self defense situation to have one in the chamber, but...

19 year old with a few questions

Well, I do just about all of my shooting in my backyard, so the range thing isnt really an issue, but I'm fully expecting to catch all kinds of flak from people not accepting and understanding the fact that carrying is legal for me once I start to, but reading around on here has taught me the...

19 year old with a few questions

Yea I get that, its just that I was planning on starting to CC once I get back from school in the communist state of illinois, and I figure I won't be able to do that very well with a larger or full sized handgun just due to my size and what I usually wear. Now when I start to OC i don't think...

      Sardius SD9

Does anyone know anything about the Sardius Industries SD9, as far as the value or reliability? I have one and I have yet to shoot it and am looking to get rid of it for some extra cash.

I was hoping that wouldn't be an issue, but it does makes sense.

19 year old with a few questions

Thanks everyone. And guns like glock 26 or 27, or the ruger lcp is what I've been looking at. I'm a pretty small guy so I need something like that. I have a springfield xd subcompact that I got as a gift, but I figure there's no such thing as too many guns.

19 year old with a few questions

Ok, I am 19 years old and have my LTCH and I have been looking around on the WTS sections of this site and have seen a few handguns that I wouldn't mind owning. Can I legally buy a handgun off of somebody on this site since it would be a private sale? And if i could, would I legally be allowed...
