I am unlike most I guess, going against the grain and saying that there are better options than the 1911. I don't care for nostalgia. I have 1911's, and have had good, and bad ones. I would rather have a gun that holds more rounds, while being just a couple oz heavier than a plane jane non...
I just posted this on another thread... I'd go with Hk. Of course if you are used to Glock's, I would go with the G30. If you are going to go with a different breed however, Hk is where it's at. To get a 1911 that compares, you are looking at the guy below.
If you go with a different platform...
I don't know what happened with my last post... Anyway, I jokingly say "good job!" As I see they paid a bunch of money for a gun that has failed... This is just one of the site's that you can go to, to find the bad news...

I would say that price is really going to dictate the answer here... If it is just a basic question you are looking for an answer to, I would say to go with Hk. The stock Hk USP is more accurate from a ransom rest than a Colt Gold Cup, and just as accurate as my Nighthawk Talon II was, at a...
I will say, I am willing to take a LOSS on this. I have no need for this scope, and had actually forgot about it... So, what do you have to offer?

I have had a Leupold Competition Series scope on a gun for a bit now. The gun was never shot, and has recently been parted out. The scope is in like new condition.

I am looking for a trade for either an Aimpoint or Eotech with a magnifier...
So I got this ML2 and I didn't do all of my Aimpoint homework... The ML2 is not night vision compatable. I am going to run a NV monocular on my rifle and I need a NV compatable optic. This optic is in great condition. I took pictures of all sides so you can see. There are little tan spots on it...
Be careful with milling into your slide too deep. You need enough thread contact so the sight doesn't snap off during recoil. With Glocks, you can't go too far down with the RMR because of the way the extractor is set up.
I haven't weighed it yet.
Everyone has their own view of which round is best between 45, 9mm, 40, and 10mm. You will hear arguements for all of them. With this arguement, I would say 45 super as it squashes all of the other rounds which no one can argue. More importantly however, I will say training. Shot placement is...
