I had the crossman 10 pump style as a kid. Must have shot 10,000 bb's through that thing (many a dead chimpmunk). I did make a few bad choices with that gun and there is no way you are ever going to know if your kid will do the same. I don't know any kid that had a bb gun and didn't make at...
No to both. Not opposed to either tho. I looked into the BJCP certification and decided I would rather stick to being judged :). I know, I know, it will only help make me a better brewer. I just wasn't interested in memorizing all the history of every style etc. All the studying seemed to...
They need more gun laws. That's the problem. not Enough gun laws. Didn't you know that the gang bangers will stop shooting people if you just make it against the law to have a gun, buy ammunition or commit murder? Oh wait, never mind!:):
The article shows the absolute worst way you could handle the tax liabilities and other considerations. There are much better ways to handle estate planning if you come into a large windfall like that. The first thing any lotto jackpot winner needs to do is hire a tax attourney and good...
As much as I would like to try something different I'm leaning toward your advice. However, my thought process for buying a new gun was to gain experience with something other than a Glock. So if I am persuaded that it isn't worth it to do that then maybe I don't buy a second gun. I will...
Got 10 gallons of Amarillo IPA in the conical. Nugget pale ale and milk stout on tap. Double IPA, BDSA, and russian imperial stout in bottles. Hmmm...I need to brew less or drink more.
I think it's a big red flag that he's asking YOU what he needs to do. Jeez, if it were my range I would be re-disigning it to point in another direction yesterday. I'd consider myself EXTREMELY lucky that no one got hurt and do absolutely everything in my power to ensure there is no way...
I have several rifles already. They got more use when I lived in Michigan and could hunt deer with them. My 17hmr sees the range almost weekly but the 30-30, 30-06, and 308 don't get much use. Maybe if I start reloading I'll shoot them more but for now it's a bit expensive for large caliber...
I agree with your logic regarding keeping 1 common type ammo. I haven't heard a good reason to have 2 different calibers so I'm leaning toward another 9mm. I hadn't thought about sharing mags (duh) I guess because I was focusing on trying something other than a glock. That's a good point.
