The insulting isn't really necessary. If you don't like Glocks, or what I said then please ignore it. I don't want this to turn out to be a negative thread. That certainly wasn't my intention. Joshua
I'd choose my mom (come on guys..), but GOD I LOVE MY G19. The more guns I buy the more I know its true. Maybe I'll put up a montage of me taking my g19 for a walk, sharing a milk shake, going to the movies, ect. If I was to wake up one morning to realize that I had turned into a gun while I...
Since this thread remains active thus far, I will tell you all that I have finally figured out that one mag of the pair that came with the gun is "off spec" in some way undetectable to the eye. I have yet to send it back to Taurus for a new one but that is my intention. I will post a picture...
I have shot the Px4 9mm. I pulled the trigger nearly all the way back before it broke though it wasnt a "spongy" pull by any means. Just a clean effortless staging of the trigger all the way back then a clean crisp break. No failures of any sort. I think this is one of those guns in which...
Updated range report: Things are looking up. First of all, the failures to fire were most likely my fault. Upon initial cleaning I purposely over lubed the gun so that on the 2nd cleaning any debris I missed the first time would loosen up and remain suspended in the lube. I am positive lube...
Range Report: well... I put 50 rounds through it. I had failures to feed and fire. even on the supposed "2nd strike capability". Even a few failures of the slide to lock back on the last round. All of this did appear to be further between failures the more I shot. I will clean it tonight, and...
I have to believe some designs are better than others. I am not suprised that people aren't having problems with the PT1911, or the OSS for that matter. I couldn't over state that I don't want to get ahead of myself. I just got it last night and haven't shot it yet. My Glocks have gotten better...
yes this model does has a hammer. I will say that at this moment the gun will not chamber a round unless I push up on the magazine because there is some play when the magazine is seated. I am assuming that with some use this will work itself out. we will shall see. the shape of the 40 cal...
well i believe I have learned what the difference is in a $300 gun and a $600 gun.. not that I am unhappy, because I am very happy with the gun.. its just now I know. trigger isnt as bad as some people who have commented on it make it out to be. Joshua
anyone plan on questioning that particular round? this is mass produced ammo completely capable of coming off the line with various small differences that could possibly cause a host of different malfunctions in an otherwise perfectly functioning firearm.
you did mention this happened only once...
I watched the guy next to me at the range the other day shooting a Kahr. Other than a limp wristed ftf it appeared to me that the guy was having a great time shooting it. The first thing I think about when it comes to these guns is the recoil/muzzle flip and the trigger pull. From the looks of...
