sr9c - My first Ruger... My last Ruger

DDawg: Thanks for the encouragement. I should give the new sr9c a chance when it gets back, but I twitch when I think of the amount of trouble it has caused me. I think I'll move on to another company and start fresh with a new 9mm. Lots of newbies out there who will jump at a good price on a...

sr9c - My first Ruger... My last Ruger

WWB is pretty consistent range ammo. Everyone I know shoots it from lots of other guns, and I'm sure a good sr9c would be able to shoot it without jamming on every mag. When my sr9c was shooting well (for about 6 weeks) it shot WWB like a champ, and PMC, and Blazer, and S&B, and...

      Official "CZ" photo thread!!!

What do you know about the 9mm 2075 Rami? I hear good things. Did CZ discontinue the whole Rami line or just the polymer body? I shot a friends 75BD and was amazed at the accuracy, lack of recoil, and general construction of the gun.

sr9c - My first Ruger... My last Ruger

The repair report said they fired 50 rounds of Black Hills 115gr and it functioned fine. They are sending me a new gun. I have to give kudos to Ruger tech support. They have gone out of their way to try to make this right.

sr9c - My first Ruger... My last Ruger

Lots of good advice here. Thanks. I contacted Ruger and they are sending me a new sr9c. It'll be for sale NIB soon. I'm gonna get the XDm 3.8 Compact in 9mm. And yes, to the question about high-quality hollow-point ammo. I did shoot some PDX1 and Critical Defense and it shot fine, but if a gun...

sr9c - My first Ruger... My last Ruger

The G19 is a little bigger than I like for concealed carry. The 6.25" to 6.75" size range is about the right length for me. My Makarov is the perfect size. BTW: I have a Stoner 415 IWB holster for my Mak (and one for the "lemon" Ruger sr9c). Excellent holster for a nice price. Stoner Holsters...

sr9c - My first Ruger... My last Ruger

Yep. I'm looking at the G26 or the SA XDm 3.8 Compact as the replacement for the Ruger "lemon".

Criteria for a new carry gun.

Walther PPS 9mm is available with an 8 (+1) mag. The normal mag holds 7 (+1). I rented one to shoot at Indy Trading Post. Nice pistol.

sr9c - My first Ruger... My last Ruger

Well... the sr1911 .45 rounds cost nearly twice what 9mm rounds cost. I was looking for a good range gun and EDC that didn't cost an arm and a leg to shoot.

sr9c - My first Ruger... My last Ruger

Bought an sr9c in August. First trip out had 8 FTFs out of 80 rounds with Remington UMC 115gr FMJ. Put the gun away and shot my Makarov to remember how a trustworthy gun shoots. Took the sr9c home and lightly polished the feed ramp. The next outing the gun shot better... only 3 FTFs out 100+...

      beretta nano

Glad you like the Nano... It's fun to get cool new toys. I shot one at the range last week but couldn't get next to it. Too small for my big claws. I'm a big guy so I don't need a gun that small. My Ruger sr9c hides just fine under my love handles in a Stoner 415 IWB holster. Now the px4 storm...
