Im glad people can open carry, but for me, I would rather not have to worry about someone getting scared and dialing 911 over it. I did not open carry because I wanted to, I just did not want to leave my gun in my car.
I would rather no one know I have a gun on me. Im not sure if open...
I wrote to a congressman about this. They don't care. They just send yo a canned letter and that is it.
I have been in the US since I was 4 but did go back to Europe as a teenager for 3 years and again for a year when I was out of high school. There is no place like the US and that is a fact...
I will never open carry again. I learned my lesson about a year ago.
I went to the range to shoot for a while and needed to stop at Wal-Mart. I did not want to leave my gun in my car, and the clothes I was wearing were not friendly to conceal the gun. So, I stuck it on my belt in the holster...
They dont work their butts off anymore. When I took the exam to become a citizen, you knew what the exam would be over, but you did not know the questions. You had to know the material. People, who have never taken the exam, say that any high school graduate could pass it. I beg to differ. It...
Yeah well, programs like the No Child Left Behind program setup the dumbing of of just about everything. Someone not smart enough? Make it easier!
God.. I hope this mentality doesn't make it to the FAA. Then again, seeing some of the entry level regional airline pilots fly, I kinda wonder if...
I am a world traveler by nature. We have always traveled and for me, I cant imagine just taking vacations in the US. I can adapt to almost any environment quickly once I figure out how things work wherever I am. I do feel safe here, but I have felt safe in the Amazon and in Israel.
A few...
That is great!
I just bought my little girl a pink .22 just like that at Bradis a couple weeks ago. Since I am home for a few days, we are going to go shoot it one day this week.
Why does it matter? Who cares if we have signs in English and Spanish?
I hope Spanish does not automatically equal illegal Mexican in your mind. So what about the Americans who travel to France and speak no French. Should they have to learn French just to travel there?
You have the law wrong there. To maintain residence, you have to spend 181 days in the US per year.
Which I still think is crap. If you don't contribute to the economy here and pay taxes... GET OUT!
I have all Apple computers with the exception of one PC that rarely gets turned on. Though I recently sold my Glock and my iPhone... I grew increasing disgusted with both. The Glock jammed all the time and the iPhone locked up for no reason.
I agree with you. In Mexico, they deal with illegals in a swift and harsh manor and you don't hear people screaming human rights violations when their military does horrible things to illegals.
Though I dont quite understand why anyone would be hiking near Iran to begin with. :dunno:
And your observation is 100% correct.
They come here and want to change things to the way it is "back home" and dont care about everyone else.
As my parents used to tell people; if it was so much better back home, get on a plane and head back.
I dont wish for ANYONE to live in socialism.
I had to go back for 10 days for a funeral two weeks ago. I could not wait to get back here. I have cousins who left Europe and now live in the UK who tell me constantly how lucky I am to be in the US. And I know how lucky I am.
Socialism sounds...
