      Knife maker question

It all depends on the chemical composition of the metal. Perhaps someone in the military firearms area can help you find that information.

      New Wicked Edge

I have owned the wicked edge pro II for about two years or so. I love mine. In all honesty it took me a little getting used to, but it works great. There are a ton of knife sharpeners and sharpening systems available, but this is the best I have used. I still have my wet stones and my ceramics...

Outstanding! I love leather work of any kind. Quick question "D"...where do you buy your leather? I'm curious because I am looking for better quality stuff and am looking for suggestions. I'm about to embarq on an all out holster build. You know, I've made holsters for a lot of my friends and...

Here's a sheath I did for a guy in Louisiana a year or so ago....along with a picture he sent me of it on his hip. Didn't know if I had shared this one or not so...... The knife was a K-bar tanto

Question for INGO custom knife makers

I've never made one. I think I will give it a try. I'm gonna use 3/16" 1095 1-1/2" wide with a hunting style handle, elk antler scales & stainless guard. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Question for INGO custom knife makers

I'm interested. I would think that if you want a ring guard and a full tang, it will need to be a frame handle knife. With only a 7" blade it probably would be best to stay near to 1 1/2" wide. A 5" handle is a little long for the average hand, but it's doable. I have some very nice looking elk...

Ya do some very nice work. I am loving the supple look of your leather, the crispness of your lines and the flawless appearance of the construction. Great job!

      Little Randall knife help

I'm curious if anyone can tell me what the blade width (not thickness) of a Randall Combat Companion is? I would like to mock one up some day. I have most of the dimensions, but am not sure of this one. Any help is appreciated.
