      Home Depot rents them. Not sure where you're located but looks like there are two stores that rent them in the Indianapolis area. I rented one once about 3 years ago and I want to say it was like $55 for a 4 hour rental. Home Depot FLIR

      Stop/start engines?

      Same here, I had a rental F-150 that had it. Engine would shut down which in turn killed the A/C. Not fun when you're in South Carolina in July.
