I am considering the deal they have with the Vortex Crossfire II. It is still hunting season and I can't find any good deals on Savage 110s used. Most inventory seems low. I may also just save for a SA Precision faaaar down the road. I think tax season will bring out some good used deals.
M&P 9C Night Sights Indianapolis
**SOLD** Location: Indianapolis. I will drive within the Indy Metro/Suburban area to meet you.
Smith&Wesson M&P9C, 2014 model. 2nd owner, was new in box when I got it. 500 rds or less on it.
Excellent condition. 3 (12 rd.) mags, one flush, two with...
I am reconsidering this now. Was in Bradis today and got to see some options. I may lean more toward something higher priced, and I will try to get it used. I will be handloading and not in a hurry.
After reading the ballistics data I'd prefer a 20" barrel, and I'd also like to be able to...
$299 at gunprodeals.com. $75 rebate, and transfer fee puts it at $250. Plus some tax and it'd be good to go if its free shipping. I could even grab some ammo then for less than three Benjamins.
It's great to hear people say positive things about budget items. I think we all find great deals once in a while we don't want to pass up. I am not an elitist, and I try to find things that will fit my buget and be of utility. So many people have good things to say about this budget rifle, and...
Good points! I agree with you. I looked at the Axis and Patrol MVPs, not for me for reasons you mentioned. Have you tried the Compass? Even critics seem to like its bedding, trigger and accuracy. I figure the finish will not be great, have to see about fit.
I looked at Bud's, they're usually reasonable. Cabela's not usually reasonable but about same price. Maybe that low around Christmas? Where would you recommend? Remember that FFL transfers are $25.
Better acccuracy is one of the staples I'd be willing to pay more for, and it is chief above all. Durability is nice, and so is lightweight. I'd love to see a "Dollar per sub M.O.A" comparison on some of the higher dollar options if such a thing existed, lol, with fixed firing mounts and equal...
Clarification, it's the Compass. Entry level. I know a lot of advice is "never go cheap", though in this case it seems like a value. I am also interested in increasing my use of .308 in the future and looking for a nice intermediate, long term piece, probably a battle rifle if they aren't...
T/C has a rebate until April. This makes a $300 .308 beginner rifle possible. In most reviews they are highly rated. Very tempted to try it out. I've got my dies and plan to load for this cal. If I spent more, would I really be getting THAT much more out of a rifle? I understand you get what...
I am a fan of the Defender, though it has a 3" barrel and 7+1, correct? I held one at Atterbury and I have noticed they are easily found in other places. What made you go with the Defender over others?
Interesting that more than one manufacturer sees the value of a shorter .308. Anyone guess what the MSRP will be? I haven't seen it on the IWI specs. I wonder if it uses similar system to the RFB. It is gas piston so probably not cheap. Will be looking at this vs. RFB and seriously...
I am loading .300 AAC/Blackout. Cutting .223 cases and then ream. Then they go in the de-prime/sizer. Next they get a tumble. After that they're getting primed with CCI Small Rifle, filled with 16.7 of IMR4227 and topped with a 125 gr. TNT HP. Final check in a Sheridan cutaway gauge. This...
Ok Hohn, weak joke based on old Cajun cooking show (showing my age here), but seriously, I only found one reference to Cajun CZ work, so what exactly do they do to it? Customization?
Went with the Raw Dog Tactical option. They mold it specifically for the SD. I will need to order an extra mag now. Seems like most manufacturers arent supporting the SD bc its so inexpensive. Will order Ameriglos next and hopefully the holster works out.
I have small hands. I should have listed that in criteria. I have researched Witnesses for their 10mm, though never got to hold one. I need a superstore to try all these out and see which fits best. Good news is I have time on my side. I do alright with M&P grips size wise, so if that...
Paraffin candles I made from Gulf, some paraffin specific wicks ordered online, and short Mason jars. I also gave several as gifts to family and friends. A kinetic flashlight, a Rayovac EDC with high and low beam, and my favorite for so many tasks, Rayovac headlamps (three band type) with the...
