If you don't like how the 30 fits in your hand, I highly recommend the 36. I ended up with the 36 between the two and love it!... Either are great guns, but people definitely have different hands. You can choose :)
Got to shoot the G36 today.
Mostly shot the FMJ's, but shot some gold dot JHP +p's through it too. Alls I can say is I love the gun and it is very accurate. Fits my hand well and not much recoil at all. Thanks for the suggestions guys!!! :yesway:
Wow...
Looks like my list to try out is going to be:
G17
CZ - 75 variants
Bersa 9
P226 / variant
Then if I don't like any of those i'll keep looking at these suggestions :ingo:
I recently purchased my carry gun, which ended up being a Glock 36 w/ +1 round extentions. Now I am going to look for a high capacity 9mm for home use. I held the XD, didn't like it. I did get to hold the M&P 9... It fit my hand well and I did like it. Any suggestions to look for? :patriot:
Picked up some Gold dot ammo for a decent deal, so I now have gold dot 200gr +p in it now. Still haven't found a gun that has felt so good in my hand yet...
Thanks for the info. I'll use the FMJ's to get used to the gun, then get used to shooting the HST's afterwards. I don't like the idea of having a FMJ loaded .45 in the house either.
Well I came across a decent deal on a very lightly used Glock 36 with factory adjustable sights... I quickly added 1 round extensions for comfort. Anyone have any recommendation on what protection rounds to use? The guy at the store recommended just using good ball ammo in a .45. He said...
I'm not against glock. I don't mind their trigger mechanism or anything. I will have to check that one out. I am really trying to find ones to "feel" out when I go shopping.
I've been meaning to get a new subcompact/compact .45 for awhile. I really like the Sigs... Does anyone have any recommendations on what to look at? I have rather large hands, and the p220 compact was the only compact that would fit correctly. The glock 30 was a joke.
