      Congrats, I have an xd45 service model and love it. I'd look into shooting stances online to get an idea of pistol stances. It is possible the sights could be off...

      I bought my xd45 awhile back at the Big R in wabash when they were having a great sale there. They were busy at the time so it took a little longer than normal to buy a gun. I know the sales they have monthly vary by store but it never hurts to look. You Never know what you will find

      I would have to head back to my home town and grab the brass and ftf I left there. But I do remember that the ones that did discharge had very faint striker marks on them. The hammer does fall and there is no failure to feed or eject, just failing to fire. That's what made me think the spring is...

      Ha, yea, I've heard good and bad about these pistols. Since Llama went bankrupt they stopped making these guns years ago parts are really hard to find.

      Finally had a chance to shoot my father's glock 31 he just bought. Also took my xd45 out with us to compare the two. I must say I love my xd, but his glock was just as great. I think I know what I am buying next...

      I've never had a problem using .223 when I go coyote hunting. But as with everyone else, start with 22lr.

      Pretty much the same thing with craigslist. Do your homework and you know what the price range is for most guns. Like always, if its too good to be true, it always is.
