I work unarmed security but reasons like this is exactly why I carry. I work at a plant, but there are no shortage of druggies and bad relationships there. I have frequently been kicking out strung-out meth heads from the guardhouse when they ask for a job. Usually I tell them no and they leave...
Firearms, and the Opinions of
Introduction
Firearms are one of the biggest concerns in the United States of America, and a very
political topic in many such cases. I conducted a small social study in July of 2023 by creating a Google form titled “Would you carry a firearm?” I wanted to find what...
I created a form with some basic questions, and I wrote a data analysis. The results were interesting, with most respondents being 18-25. This was originally posted in the 2A discussion forum, but I felt it should be here and also to post the finished paper at the top of the thread.
Thanks...
Of course. 71% knowing may be due to their own research out of curiosity- whether for or against 2a. I should have changed it to Too Easy, Too Hard, Just right.
Auctions seem fun, but it sucks because all of the things I would buy are handguns and I’m 20. Also in college, insert broke college...
Here it is - I spent a good amount of time on this. I uploaded it as a PDF, but if someone asks I'll copy/paste it. Thanks. Feel free to share, but I am not qualified in any way so using this as a fact may not be the best thing.
I seem to have misspoke.
Yes, I think you should be able to buy a M240B on Amazon with next-day delivery.
No, I do not support a registry.
The word “should” was simply saying by Indiana law, you have to make sure you’re not selling to a prohibited possessor. How you do that I don’t think...
Did I say that? I said “should” as in the context of making sure you’re not selling to a criminal. Registries are BS, and the ATF is not allowed to make one anyway.
I was referring to the sale through an FFL, since an FLL can deny you for acting strange.
Since private sales should have background checks/proof of not being a prohibited possessor, it is still not as easy as getting a gun illegally.
Yes, you can go around the law (as criminals do) but you...
You’d be surprised how many said Yes or Maybe.
I think since we’re in a Indiana school, there are quite a few people who grew up in a positive environment around firearms.
Hey, I am writing a data analysis from a google form I created asking whether someone would carry a firearm for self-defense. I have written papers on the actual data of self-defense and gun violence, but I haven’t found any unbiased data (not from CNN, MSNBC, etc). It is a short google form...
120+ hour update
Been wearing it all the time. Feels great now that I’m used to it. Still have not had issues, and on top of that it seems to not have any issues in quality. No wear, breaks, or loss of tension. When I get to 200 hours I’ll post an update. But as for now - it’s a recommend if...
That is hilarious because I have the same gun with a Magpul MOE pistol grip. Same issue - but I usually wear gloves when shooting now, and it helped a ton.
Ahh. My first two guns - Androcorp AR15 and a Sig P320 Compact. Chosen for modularity and I have fat hands.
The AR15 was my first gun, actually picked it up on my 20th birthday. P320 was my second, bought locally.
I grew up in a decent area, very close to one of the WORST places in Indiana...
IL sucks.
When I drove up north to visit my family for a week, we took a detour to see her father in IL. It’s online - but to be sure I broke my AR15 into the U/L and locked it in a case. Ammo stored separately. I went and got my handgun for a lot of reasons, but one that people do not talk...
