      Shooting with both eyes open

Forgot to mention that when first instructed in summer camp i was shooting a .22 rifle. When instructed 2 weeks ago was shooting a pistol. Don't know if that makes any difference but i thought would be worth mentioning.

      Shooting with both eyes open

I was taught as a 9 year old at summer camp to shoot with one eye, in my case it was thought my right eye since i'm a right hander. I've carried this habit until 2 weeks ago with an instructor explaining that if you can use both eyes, by all means do. What happens with many people is that using...

Another Gun Safe Question (i apologize in advance)

DG, Just wondering if you come up with anything yet for your gun safe. I had a gun storage question a couple of weeks ago and got a couple of kind replies and possible solutions. Sorry if i'm being nosy, but just hate the thought of guns getting into the wrong hands.:)

Had the L-1 done on 1-19, should have had mine by now, but thanks to a lot of misleading info from L-1,and the state of IN ,was notified yesterday that i need to pay an extra $15 before it can be processed, not so much a money matter, but the fact that it could have/ should have been so much...

1 on 1 or class training

Got talking with a gentleman yesterday and was referred to an instructor, handed me his card. I called and talked with with him for about ten minutes and he sounded like a respectable guy with a lot of experience. I expressed an interest on 1 on 1 pistol training, he quoted me 2 prices $250 for...

      gun storage facilities

I'm sure that would be the way to go, however, in my case, i've only recently moved here and haven't quite established any friendships yet that would allow for that. It would only be for 7- 10 days. Everything is insured.

      gun storage facilities

Anyone know of a gun storage facility(Indy area), public or private, available to hold guns on a temporary basis? This could include gun stores and/or ranges. If so, any idea what the rates would be?

.44 magnum, collectors item, practical, or glam?

Well, first things first-i would want to fire one before deciding whether or not it would make sense to invest in one. I'll check into some of the local ranges here and see if they have a rental. As for the ammo, i would hope it would be sold in 20 rd or less just to try one out.
