I recently purchased a CZ P10 F OR SR, I'm not very patient so decided to add a few things that I will list. I am very happy of the final product as it turn out a very flat shooting with a very soft recoil impulse, the most important part is that I have not experience any malfunctions with factory ammo 115 gr and 124 gr.

    Herrington arms HC10 compensator
    Henning group optic plate
    TF brass back strap
    Apex tactical trigger kit
    Overwarch striker
    HB striker spring
    Holosun 507 comp

Sounds like a sweet setup! This thread needs pics!

Do you feel the compensator made a substantial difference in felt recoil? My son and I have been outfitting his P09, which has a factory threaded barrel, and have been considering a comp just not sure if it's worth the investment or not.

In mi opinion it is worth it, if you already have a factory threaded barrel the investment is a lot less. I purchased a blem comp at Herrington arms and price was great, at any given time you spend more in one range session on ammo. I plan to shoot quite a bit so for me it pays off.

I have a CGW worked over P-07 w/threaded barrel with a PMM compensator. It was a really flat shooting pistol prior to the comp install and I noticed a difference after the install, but not a huge difference. I am keeping it as is for now since it still fits my holster.

Cool, thanks for the feedback. I'd imagine the difference should be even more noticeable on a comped P07 due to the shorter barrel. I'm also interested in the brass backstraps mentioned in the OP...does anybody know if the P10 backstraps will fit a P09, or if not if anybody is doing something similar for the DA/SA guns?

I'm more of a Sig guy and not as well versed in everything going on out there for the CZ guns. I've gotta admit that once we got the horrible factory trigger cleaned up and the defective rear sight removed (you could move it in the dovetail with finger pressure out of the box...when they milled it for the optic they got rid of the entire factory dovetail and milled in a new one behind the optic cut), that P09 has turned out to be a really nice gun.

We've kinda had concurrent build projects going on. His P09 and my P226:

I just came back from the range, this is my second time out and this set up is fantastic. very flat and very soft shooting, for the money I think this set up is vary hard to beat. with that said I like rolling break kind trigger and this is what feels like with the Apex trigger, it breaks around 3.5# with very tactile reset it does have somewhat long pre travel but not big deal for me. I was shooting cans at 25 yards with ease, the Holosun 507 comp has a big clear window. I would adventure myself to say that I shoot it almost as good as my Staccato P of course the trigger set up is very different but the way the overall the gun behaves I would say its very similar with an edge to the P10 F, I like it so much that I'm thinking to pick up a P10 C or a second P10 F because what I understand they have been discontinue.
