I didn't make a mistake and I never used the word 'weakness'...
With Putin, it's all about tactfulness and what he can get away with with minimal interference,
consequence, or retaliation in achieving his one-person goal.
The Kimber is a quality revolver and is not a bad choice for an EDC personal defense piece. It all comes down to whether it's a good 'fit' for you, personally, or not and how well it fits comfortably in your grip!
I love revolvers for personal carry / defense, but the Kimber was just not a good...
Some interesting ballistics with the .32 H&R Magnum... and not all bad either!
I could see this caliber revolver fitting into a nitch and have a market, but how much it is utilized or grows will probably be limited with the current market being pushed to semi-auto calibers, especially 9mm in...
I owned one for a while...and it shot great!
The only drawback I would say would be the overall weight for the size of the revolver.
I ended up selling it and sticking with a S&W 360J in .357 Magnum...
Bingo...initially, or with a new shooter or someone I am working with for a first time, I would work with what one has! I would work to build with what is working to fully develop safety and shooting skills. Only after they have achieved a degree of success, or are not having any success...
Plus One (+1) for the Beretta CX-4 Carbine!
The wife has a Beretta 92FS and loves it!
When she wanted a 9mm carbine that matched her Beretta, is when I discovered the CX-4 carbine, and she fell in love with it!
Matching caliber and magazines with a very pleasant felt recoil that is amazingly...
I'm fortunate, I guess? My next door neighbor (behind me) has a few 'toys' and we have had a few fence line chats.
Our Association VP is on the security team at Parkview Hospital...and is a avid wild bird hunter (duck, pheasant, etc.!)
I try to be subtle (aka, not 'broadcast') what I have or...
I still have one older nickle Taurus 85 (early 1990's build) .38 Special that is dead-bang accurate with 158 grain loads! I've actually carried it in the past until I discovered Smith & Wesson's J-Framed 360 series of revolvers...but kept the Taurus! My dad has asked about getting a little...
Older, early 1990's models were excellent, based on the older S&W revolvers...their newer stuff, I never found anything worth betting my life on! Had a model 850 (DAO .38) that went back for warranty work twice (2x) and never got fixed...and I never went back with Taurus!
Consideration #77: It needs to be good-looking enough to take out into public!
Aero Precision EPC-9 in FDE and Black!
Ballistics Advantage 10.5" heavy barrel.
Very accurate and a very sweet shooter!
I was at the 1500 several years ago when we heard a loud 'pop' and as we turned around and looked, one could see clear across the area as nearly everyone was on the ground (ducked down.) There were two guys across the space standing next to each other and one of them (a vendor, I believe) who...
Nighthawk or Les Baer...can't go wrong with either!
But don't rule out having one built by @AllenM in Avon...
He's done some work on mine and its top notch!!!
