Well I've finally replaced my electrocuted waved Endura.
For this next EDC knife, I had a few criteria:
First impressions are quite positive.
The ball-bearing lock makes for a silky smooth opening and a sharp click when it locks into place. The G-10 is grippy enough to not slip, but slick enough to not rub my hand raw when I reach into my pocket. The pocket clip is very strong and does not stick out, although I might replace it with a black one to make it a bit more low-profile at work. Uber-jimping aids in a secure grasp, and the overall weight is enough to know its there, but not enough to be bothersome.
When closed, the profile is much wider than the Endura-- not a bad thing, but it does take up a bit more pocket space.
Thanks goes to INGOer Glock Lover for keeping this thing so darn nice-- it looks brand new!
For this next EDC knife, I had a few criteria:
- Quality company
- Blade length greater than 3"
- Straight edge
- Grip long enough to use as pommel when gripped
- Quality blade steel that I had at least heard of before
- G-10 scales
- Non liner-lock
- Sturdy pocket clip that won't snag or bend
- Sub-$100 price tag
First impressions are quite positive.
