"Essentials of Indiana Gun Law" Courses Scheduled

Because our "Essentials of Indiana Gun Law" courses sold out in January, we have scheduled two more EIGL courses: March 5, 2016 and April 9, 2016, both to be held at Tim's Shooting Academy of Westfield. This is a three-hour course that is jam-packed with vitally important legal information for the Indiana Gun Owner. Cost is $95.

I went years ago and it was worth the drive from NWI.

Actually, the class I attended was "comprehensive gun law" which is the 7 hour course.

The focus of EIGL is on the actual use of deadly force in self defense and avoiding prosecution for crimes like pointing a firearm, intimidation with a deadly weapon and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon. CIGL is a full four hours longer, so of course we cover a lot more in that course.

I don't have any CIGL courses scheduled as of right now, but I'm sure I'll add some to the calendar later in the year.

Great question. Everything we cover in EIGL we cover in CIGL - CIGL just covers a lot more. IOW, if someone attends EIGL and then attends CIGL, they would get 3 hours of repetition of what they heard in EIGL and four hours of new information.

We created EIGL because a lot of people have said that they want to take the course but don't have a whole day to spend - so they just wanted the most critical information essential to staying out of jail, including the justifiable use of deadly force.
