My Mother is a very artsy person. Some of you may remember that her and lovemywoods used the INGO Project Snapdragon gift to remodel their basement into a craft and photography studio ( https://www.indianagunowners.com/forums/break_room/190129-our_gift_from_ingo_project_snapdragon.html ). Now that the project is complete she's been busy creating all kinds of unique crafts and gifts in her new space.
Recently she's been learning different types of book bindings and has been making books with covers of reused materials.
Last night she gave me one of her recent creations.
For the cover she used a piece of camo cloth taken from some old BDU pants. She bound it to several lined pages with leather strips. At the end of the wrap-around strip hangs a round piece of lead splatter that she harvested from under the steel targets on our shooting range. On the front it says "INGunOwners.com". Inside the camo cloth has been fused to a picture collage of scenes from previous INGO NFA Days.
I haven't yet had the guts to actually write anything it in. It's almost too cool to use.
