Most likely depends on how they ship it from the warehouse to the store. If they use a company owned way of shipping I wouldn't see why they would charge one, but if they use UPS/FEDEX I bet they would keep the charge.
Honestly, if you're close enough to a store to pick it up I'd just call that store and make sure it is in stock. No worries about it then.

Seriously. In all my visits to Cabela's, they were well stocked.
I was slightly annoyed that their website prices were cheaper than in store, though. A few dollars isn't a big deal but it wasn't exactly a short trip from where I was staying at the time.

price what you want online before you go, or use your smart phone to look it up online while in the store
when checking out, mention that its cheaper on the website, they'll pull it up, and do the price override. i've never had the store not honor the policy
