People are always looking for some villain in the medical field, and there just ain't one, except the villain that usually surfaces on issues like this - the government.
One of the biggest reasons for higher costs is one no one wants to face - all the amazing advancements that save lives and allow injured folks full active lives who would have been cripples just a few years ago, and all the diseases that have been cured - like AIDS in the U.S., something no one will trumpet because it's politically incorrect - all of these amazing advancements cost money.
And how people can think insurance companies are all bad and making so much money when they're doing terribly financially and going out of business right and left, and bailing out of heavily regulated states.
But who needs logic and facts when you're trying to get someone else to pay your way?
