Wanting to get into a nice AK-47 rifle, but not wanting to spend over $600. Is this possible, or should I go on to my next desired firearm? If it is possible, can someone post possibilities (I know there are numerous AK-47's, but I have no idea what separates one for the next).

    Thanks for your time.

Yugo M70 versions can still be found for around $600, but if you get one over the net you have to add shipping and transfer fees.

Take a look at Atlantic firearms as they do list a few Yugos for $600 +/- a few dollars. Not 100% sure but mention this website and they might give a discount.

Yugos seem to be universally liked among the current group of what ATF lets us have.

Edit: anyone have personal experience with the CAI Centurion 39 ? Seems to be a decent variant in this price range.

At the 1500 someone was selling yugo m92 pap pistols for 419. Add a barrel extension and a stock and book 500 completely bad ass Ak. M92 kits were over 1000 earlier and that's unbuilt with no receiver.

I handled a C39 sporter and a few Yugo's at Bradis yesterday. A little above $700 but they were all nice looking and feeling. I got side tracked with the Vepr 12 gauge though. OMG

Again if u can get a Yugo pap pistol for 419, then pay 200 to SBR it you can have an SBR AK for cheaper than a wasr with all the latest parts.

Yes, going this route with the M85 and it's like an addiction. Amazing how many gewgaws you can hang on one of those!! And it's another 9 mos. for the paperwork. :spend:

I challenge anyone to a better new AK for the price argument. You would be foolish not to buy one!
