As some of you know, I had a Glock 21SF with the ambi release. I had an issue with the mag catch falling out and the release being really stiff. Glock sent out new parts to repair it. I had the new parts in installed and was still having issues with the release being stiff and not wanting to return to its center position after releasing the mag. I called Glock and told them about my ongoing issues and they had me send it in. The person I talked with on the phone asked if they could not get the release to work correctly and reliably if they could change the frame out to a standard non ambi release, I told them that was acceptable and my preferred method of it being fixed. I was told that they would have to try and repair my frame first and that switching out the frame would be the last resort. I sent my Glock in on Monday of last week and received it back on Thursday. I now have a standard non ambi release Glock 21SF. They replaced the frame, firing pin safety, magazine catch and slide stop lever. They removed my 3.5lb connector and placed it in the box and put in a 5.5lb connector. Shipped it all back in a new box with the standard accessories.
Now it just needs to hit the range.
