I went through this gun and have installed a "gunsmith" fit Kart National Match barrel Ed Brown extractor, slide stop and firing pin stop. Trigger is a nice carry trigger at 4.5 lbs
Front strap is checkered 25 LPI.
2 tone Cerakote
Alumigrips Cerakoted to match the slide.
Low profile Novak style sights
Slide has been tri topped and Hi Power cut in front. This in combination with the alloy frame makes for a very nice light 45 for carry.
The gun runs extremely well and is nice and tight, Accuracy is excellent
This had a problem though when I got it. the firing pin hole was so far off center that it would not always ignite the primer. I pocketed the breach face and mad a plug and converted it to a 9mm firing pin while i was at it.
I am pricing this below what I consider it to be worth just because there is evidence of the repair that has been done. I included a video of me running 8 or 9 ( I didn't count) mags through it today to show it runs right.
A custom 1911 $850.00 in or near Avon and I do have to do a 4473 form before transfer
I did not post it but I would consider trades for something interesting but I have nothing on my radar at the moment.
Some pics, silly but I don't have clean pic just the ones from today at the range. followed by the video
video:
Some full power 230 grain and some some light practice loads.
