UPDATE 1:
Thank you for all your donation so far. If you have 7.62 that is now what we are looking for.
INGO we need your help for the 4th annual NWI INGO/WINAMAC DNR Youth Day event.
The event is tailored for children, especially new shooters, and their families.
For the past 3 years we have had 80 to 100 children come to the eat.
The event 4 sections: .22lr rifles, 20g skeet, bow & arrow (run by local 4H chapter) and one single .223/7.62 bench for the bigger kids. More info on past events here with pictures.
This year with the help of INGO Sponsor "Front Toward the Enemy" all the rifles will have suppressors as well to help with the noise level especially for the little ones and first time shooters.
What we are still low on is ammo for the .223/7.62 bench. INGO members have over the years proudly donated plenty of .22lr for this event and for that I am truly thankful.
If you can spare a few rounds of .223 or 7.62 it would be appreciated.
Please let me know. NWI INGO has members that do bi-weekly runs to Indy and elsewhere in the state due to work so we can coordinate to get your ammo even if you are not in the NW part of the state.
