    Percentages now
    68% Yes! The Second Amendment guarantees it.
    25% No, it's too dangerous.
    7% Only for self defense.

    The polls MSNBC puts together are always worded poorly. In many cases the yes answer is designed to make a person sound like a nut. The idea is to deter people from actually choosing it. This one is pretty tame in comparison to some.

    Oh, the stupidity... Response #3 reads "Only for self-defense". So, we can only carry when we know we are going to be involved in a self-defense situation? Who the hell writes garbage like this, anyway?

    Someone in the comments section was whining about the 80% number and theorizing that the poll had been taken over by NRA members. Of course I thought, "No, just INGO."
