open gun project

I am putting together an open gun for a customer/INGO member. Using a New Infinity Slide with interchangeable Breachface, used frame, grip and Schuemann 38 super barrel with a Bedwell 7 port comp and barrel poppels.

It is starting to take shape so I thought I would post some pics. Missing from the pics is converting the frame from Wilson/ Nowlin Ramp to Clark/ PARA ramp.
Just have to trust me on that

Initial looks after Slide Frame and Barrel were fit and flattop and lightening cut.





Tri top work. I modified my Fixture so I could cut the comp at the same time





Cut some serrations and a Radius Cut



Poppel cut


Trimmed frame end to match slide



Blended tail enad


Blended grip safety, removed alot of material to get a good high grip


Stripped paint and blasted things

Shot it yesterday, ran flawlessly, 38 is where it's at. Thanks Allen, I'll post some more pictures when its coated.

Fun gun mostly, we will see, I had a bunch of spare parts and used parts I picked up on enos over last season and had Allen throw them together. It turned out beautifully.

I remember you shooting Kurt's open gun at an Atlanta Conservation Club match last year. So was curious if you was going to stick with Limited or become a Open GM
