As the D-Day is getting closer and closer (and the weather getting warmer) we are seeing more and more of those on the road (and in the fields).

Not easy to back up with this in a mudy field.

Some of those came from the UK.Most of them are from Belgium and France.

Wish I could see some of that hardware around here someplace. Guess there are SOME perks to living in France! :D

I've always thought that if my ship were to come in (which probably ain't gonna happen) and I suddenly had money out the wazoo, one of the first things I'd buy would be a fully restored Willys MB or Ford GPW. :rockwoot:

Well not just in France, you have many groups all around Europe that collect and restore WW2 vehicles.
Next year for the 70 years of the D-Day it's probably going to be huge with so many vehicles coming from all over the place. :faint:
Just like during WW2 but with WAY less Germans around. :D

Those guys look real hard to make those look brand new.
They usually find them very rusty with many parts missing and sometimes even huge holes in them.

Some vehicles like the tanks are even restored with the help of the miltary where they actually fix the modern tanks.

    Here a Sherman.
