I had my resident tech Mr. danielocean03 work on my 98 M3 today. Alex has worked on this car alot! After piecing together suspension parts for over a month or so today was the day! Car has about 75,000 miles on it and the suspension was shot :noway: Ride is night and day better with the new components! :yesway::yesway::yesway:

All that and no spring replacement? Not bashing, but springs wear out too.

On the other hand, the paint marks on the springs are pretty clear, did you do the springs at some point before this?

Sweet. Keep the stock height or you go lower? I did not know danielocean03 would work on such pedestrian vehicles haha ;). I'll have to keep him in mind for mine:banana:.

Kept the ride height stock. All my cars go to danielocean03. I think its more of a difficult transition going to my Corolla after his day job than the M3 :):

    My X3 needs some soul.

Yee Gads... Struts? I hate 'em.

My favorite focus on my cars are tires and brakes. I leave the rest to the pros. I'd like to master suspension - maybe when I'm 40...

Gotta love german engineering - even when it's assembled in South Carolina.

It honestly isn't that bad. I'm doing my struts and springs over christmas break. I did my first clutch on my own car in April, cars still running fine :D.

If you take your time, do a little research before hand and remember the reverse order of all the parts/don't drink too much beer, it goes great.

If anyone wants a helping hand, I'm down to help out!
