    That is a very impressive story. There must be thousands, if not millions of these kinds of stories of World War Two and other conflicts for that matter. What a shame it is that most of these stories will be lost to time

    Yep, I don't know the numbers, but there have to be very few WWII survivors remaining. With their passing, America suffers a great loss.
