What's everyone getting for group size out of there ammo for longer range prs 22 matches. I've not went past a 100 yds but can get 5 shots in a 1 inch group so far just curious what kind of groups are needed for longer ranges for a rifle and ammo combination to be "competitive " and being shot...
Anyone buy any universal 12 in arca rails off Amazon, ebay, etc. Wanting to run one on a bergara bmr trying to find alternatives to spending $100 on a area 419 rail working on a budget trying to get a nrl22 base class rifle together for my daughter
Went to hoosier hills rifle club today and shot first nrl22 match had a great time and met alot of great people. I definitely wasn't a contender to win anything just glad I got out and tried it for the first time and tested my base class setup. If your in southern indiana definitely recommend...
What's an acceptable bullet extreme spread and standard deviation for 22 long rifle ammo 22 nrl/prs competition. Currently shooting a tikka t1x 16in barrel using cci standard velocity and seeing an es of 59 fps and sd of 13.41 at 1096 fps average. I know there is extremely better quality ammo...
Thanks for the advice I'm probably just gonna pass up the good deal I hate to ruin a perfect stock and be stuck with a barrel in 22 wmr I don't really want anyways afterwards
Currently have a cz 455 american chambered in 22 wmr. I found a new unused varmint 22 lr barrel just curious if the varmint barrel will interchange on the american stock before I waste money buying a barrel or will I have to switch to a chassis to make it work correctly
Anyone shoot nrl22 matches at hoosier hills or prs 22 matches at friendship indiana just curious on others opinions on either location and cost to shoot matches at either location
Anyone using a tikka t1x 16 in for prs22 or nrl22 competition just curious what ammo is working the best and how do they perform going to my first match in a few weeks.
Ok thanks for the info just trying to not look like a total fool at a match it all seems quite intimidating especially from watching you tube videos and seeing the positions you shoot from and how important accuracy is to be competitive.
Yeah knowing drop is kinda my only hold up at the moment. Have two ammos that group around 1/2 in to 3/4 in groups at 50 yds but have not attempted 100 yd test and want to calculate dope correctly trying to do it all the right way
