BPS has the form 4473 on a computer, once submitted, sometimes it takes less than 5 seconds to do a background check...yes, I said 5 seconds...there are some cases where it takes a few hours, or maybe a day. 7 day waiting periods are just the gubment denying/delaying a right. Carry handgun with round in the chamber.
